I had surgery yesterday and everything is going well. I'm really exhausted from the drugs so I'm gunna do a write up about the surgery and the day following sometime soon when I have more energy
I've been laying around mostly, I'm not that hungry due to the drugs i think. I had planned on playing a bunch of video games, but I dont know how much i can concentrate or stay awake. I do plan on watching ESPN's 30 for 30 movie called "The U" which is about the Miami football team when they were dominating.
Once again thanks to everyone for their support and advice!
Good to hear you are doing well. I wish you a speedy recovery and hope to see you out on the ultimate pitch by the end of spring

Hey man, Im goin through the same thing. I tore my ACL and lateral meniscus back in September at our tournament in Gettysburg. I go to Shippensburg University located in PA. It was our first game of the tournament and I was defending on the goal line. They called time out and set up for a play. The guy I was defending cut and as he went to clear thats when my foot sliped in the mud, locked up and popped. According to what everyone was saying, it was an ACL, although I didnt go through the swelling that you had described. Anyways, MRIs confirmed full ACL and partial lateral meniscal tears. We chose not to have the surgery until now because of school and finals etc.
ReplyDeleteAnyways, my friend showed me this link and I just had surgery the 16th so it looks like were both pretty close with what were goin through and everything. How did your surgery go? Did you do the patella autograph or go with a cadaver? Hope all is goin well for you, I feel your pain lol.
Take care,
